Karen Hilton MBE

Karen Hilton is a highly respected and renowned dance teacher, lecturer, and adjudicator in the UK and across the World.

She, along with her husband Marcus Hilton MBE, is the holder of 16 world titles including: 2 x World Amateur Latin American Champion, 1 x World Amateur 10 Dance Champion, 1 x World Professional 10 Dance Champion, 3 x World Professional Showdance Champion, and 9 times World Professional Ballroom Champion.

Karen is also regarded as an influencer within the field of Ballroom and Latin American dress design and couture.

In 1986 Karen married her partner Marcus, and they have continued their incredibly successful partnership.

In 1994 Karen was awarded Rochdale Woman of the Year, and in 1997, Karen and her husband Marcus were honoured by Queen Elizabeth II with an MBE, presented by King Charles III, for services to dance and charity.

Karen has been a team leader for over 19 years, with her teaching children in her local community. In addition to this, she is an advisor for the World Dance Organisation (WDO) and patron of the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA).

Karen is a prominent member of the world-famous Starlight Dance Centre.
