Updated: Aug 12

The British DanceSport Association (BDSA) is thrilled to welcome All Nations Dance to our membership. Having All Nations Dance join us is an endorsement of their approach to teaching and supporting multiple styles of dance. All Nations Dance is renowned for its vibrant, inclusive, and revolutionary approach to dance. Having them join our growing membership highlights our recognition of All Nations Dance as a leading force committed to celebrating individuality, diversity, safeguarding, and inclusivity in the world of dance sport.

A Fusion of Visionary Excellence

All Nations Dance, under the visionary leadership of Jackie Sanderson and Jessica Porter, has taken the dance world by storm with its innovative fusion of styles. By blending Commercial Latin, Commercial Ballroom, and Commercial Classical with elements from Commercial/Street, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Salsa, All Nations Dance delivers captivating routines that engage dancers of all ages and skill levels. Their events are a celebration of family-friendly fun and a spirit of community that resonates deeply with participants and spectators alike.

This affiliation reflects our mutual dedication to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued, inspired and energised to dance. Both organisations are committed to upholding the highest standards of safeguarding and integrity, ensuring every dancer performs with confidence and joy and delivering good governance.

All Nations Dance will implement the BDSA Safeguarding Policy and adopt our overall approach to good governance in dance sport.

Transforming the Dance Sport Experience

The BDSA’s endorsement of All Nations Dance aims to energise the dance sport scene with unmatched enthusiasm and innovation.  By endorsing All Nations Dance and welcoming them and theirs as members, we support events that set new standards in quality and inclusivity.  All Nations Dance’s pre-choreographed routines streamline teaching for instructors and allow dancers to excel without the need for a partner, fostering greater participation and enjoyment.

Our collaborative efforts will introduce more vibrant, inclusive, and accessible dance competitions across various locations, offering categories tailored to different age groups and abilities. This perfectly aligns with the BDSA’s mission to cultivate an inclusive, diverse and dynamic dance sport community.

A Vision for the Future

The BDSA and All Nations Dance are committed to ushering in a new era of dance sport, where inclusivity and excellence thrive. Our shared goals will help to enhance event quality, promote a culture of inclusivity, and ensure the well-being of all participants. Together, we believe we can create a flourishing and diverse dance sport community that celebrates each dancer’s unique talents and stories.

“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome All Nations Dance into the BDSA family,” said CEO Neil Harrison. “Their dedication to inclusivity and safeguarding is truly inspiring, and we are excited about the incredible impact this will have on the dance sport world.”

Jackie Sanderson from All Nations Dance echoes these views. “We are delighted to be endorsed by the BDSA, an organisation that aligns perfectly with our values and vision. Together, we look forward to making dance a more inclusive place for all.”
