British DanceSport Association Welcomes The Guild of Professional Teachers of Dance, Movement to Music and Dramatic Arts

The British DanceSport Association (BDSA) is delighted to announce that The Guild has supported our ever-growing community! Their involvement will be invaluable as we work together to strengthen and expand the impact of the BDSA’s benefits and initiatives. The BDSA is confident that with The Guild’s experience and insight, it’s efforts will be significantly enhanced, and the dance community will greatly benefit from their institutional knowledge.

The Guild is registered as an independent dance body and is recognised by the government as representing teachers of dance, movement to music and dramatic art. Centrally organised by an executive council, it is a non-profit making body using membership income to secure the highest benefits for its members.

The Guild represents their members at the Sport and Recreation Alliance, who bring together the sport and recreation sector and support members to tackle the challenges and take advantage of opportunities. The SRA are the sector's voice with the Government, policymakers and the media. The Guild promotes their member’s interests to Government departments, local area education and leisure authorities and other employment organisations. The BDSA looks forward to a long and engaging relationship with The Guild and its members.
